Here's something I genuinely believe: nothing about you exists in a vacuum. The job that's grinding you down is affecting your sleep. Your sleep is affecting your patience. Your patience is affecting your relationships. And somewhere in all of that, things get knotted up. It's a lot. That part is normal.
That's where I come in. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist — and before you wonder whether that means I only work with couples and families, the short answer is no. The letters after my name reflect a specialty in systems thinking, which in plain terms means I see everything in context. Your relationships, your history, your environment, your stress — none of it exists in isolation, and neither do you. On any given day I actually see more individuals than anything else, so if you're flying solo, you're in the right place.
My approach is built around you — not a script, not a one-size-fits-all method. Whether you want to dig into your past to understand why you are the way you are, or you just need a consistent space to think out loud and process whatever life is throwing at you right now — we'll figure out what you need together and adjust as we go. I'm trained in EMDR and bring genuine curiosity to every person I work with. I also prioritize cultural responsiveness and inclusivity, because context matters — and that includes yours.
My style is warm and a little unfiltered. You can expect real conversation, not rehearsed responses — and yes, a little humor when it fits, because life is heavy enough without being solemn about all of it.
What I want you to know is this: deciding to do something different is one of the hardest things a person can do. The fact that you're here — even reading this, even just considering it — already says something about you. That something is worth building on.
